Kristen and Eric are both young professionals who met in college and fell in love. They are fun-loving and even took the ferry into the city. The inspiration for their photos was a classic NYC editorial style. The choice to do New York Public Library and Grand Central Station engagement photos matched and elevated that style even further.
We were happy to deliver for Kristen and Eric. Here’s how their New York Public Library and Grand Central Station engagement photos session went.
Kristen and Eric found us on Instagram. They liked what they saw, so they hired us to do their Grand Central Station engagement photos, along with some shots in the city and outside the New York Public Library too. Kristen described her inspiration to us, that NYC editorial style we mentioned earlier, and we picked all the locations based on that.
We’re always happy when our clients trust us with their visions. We’re also always happy to put our expertise as professionals and our experience with places like NYC to use to ensure they get the best photos possible.
Taking the Grand Central Station engagement photos was one of many highlights of this engagement session. The colors and history of Grand Central Station added a fun elegance to the style Kristen and Eric were going for.
It can also be challenging to shoot Grand Central Station engagement photos because it’s such a busy location. We made that work though, and the bustle of the NYC crowds matched the energy of Kristen and Eric, which breathed even more life into their photos.
Of course, we can’t forget when Eric popped the champagne in front of Grand Central Station. The look on his and Kristen’s faces is priceless, and we were happy to capture those looks for them to cherish forever.
We took to the streets for some additional pictures, including some outside the New York Public Library. One of the great things about New York City is its abundance of incredible places to shoot. We love the way this city looks and helping our couples navigate it to find places to express their love too.
We should mention the nighttime shots were our favorite. That’s when New York City really comes to life with everything going on, the night lights, and the aesthetic of the city streets. It was the perfect outdoor complement to Kristen and Eric’s engagement photos.
Maybe you’d like your own set of engagement photos along with more at the New York Public Library and on the streets of the city. Or maybe you’d like your engagement photos taken somewhere else.
While we have our favorite spots to shoot, we’re always open to ideas. Part of the fun of being a wedding photographer and videographer duo is getting to work with clients who have new ideas and destinations in mind. So, whether you’re looking for something we’ve already done or something new, we’d love to hear from you. Just let us know what you’re looking for!
